We don’t know what the piece of music is called but from the tags (and obviously the style of music) it is probably Japanese folk music (Buddhist in origin?).
The Japanese Shakuhachi Flute is an end-blown flute originally made from bamboo.
Keiko Matsui plays an piece called “Light Above the Trees” accompanied by piano.

Featuring Raga Shivranjani on the Bansuri which is a transverse alto (Bamboo) Flute originally heard in India, Pakistan and Nepal originating from about 100AD.
In this video Raga Shivranjani is playing what he describes as a light indian classical RÄga. RÄga’s are associated with different times of the day, or with seasons and can be either religious or secular. Raga says that the mood of this rÄga is contemplative and there is no specific time of the day associated with it
