Course Information

This summer course will be hosted by Atarah in her converted farmhouse/flute-shrine (1300 flute figurines!) in the heart of the Dordogne vineyards (French speakers welcome).

Intensive Master classes mornings and afternoons with Sam Coles with a pianist or harpist. Sam Coles is the Principal flute with the Philharmonia Orchestra and Professor at the Royal Academy of Music London.

Flute orchestra sessions in the evenings with ATARAH BEN-TOVIM MBE, former Principal Flutist of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.

Additional Information

Simple shared accommodation (rooms for 2 to 4 people) and heated pool. Excellent meals and wine at Atarah`s or in local restaurants included.

Access

BY CAR: 2 LE BOS, 33890 JUILLAC, FRANCE between GENSAC and CASTILLON LA BATAILLE,
BY TRAIN: LIBOURNE station is directly connected to PARIS Montparnasse station, (TGV), Paris Gare du Nord is 2h train from LONDON, then local train from Libourne to Castillon (20 mins).
BY PLANE: Bergerac Airport: low cost flights from London Stansted, Bristol, E.Midlands, Southampton, Liverpool, Manchester, Scotland and Ireland (Ryan Air, Fly Be, Jet 2…).
Or Bordeaux Airport with Easyjet or British Airways then take train to Castillon (1 hour).
Price includes pick-ups from Bergerac Airport or Castillon train station.
Sam Coles can collect from Bordeaux airport to Juillac on July 13th
